Dr. Walker’s history includes playing Quarterback for the Pflugerville Panthers and playing Wide Receiver at Texas Tech University and UIW. His history of participation in competitive sports and desire to work with athletes combined with his interest in new biologic therapies and the use of arthroscopy led him to Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Having undergone open heart surgery and being a Type 1 diabetic, he has a unique perspective as well as a great deal of empathy when working with patients.

Dr. Walker currently serves as the Head Team Orthopedic Physician to the Texas Stars professional hockey team, AHL affiliate to the Dallas Stars NHL Hockey. During the 2023-2024 preseason he was selected to be the Dallas Stars team orthopedic doctor at the Cedar Park H-E-B center.
